This year 15 Senior Wing (Girls) cadets and 22 Senior Division
(Boys) cadets were enrolled. The total strength of our company is 60 cadets.
They are 9 Third year cadets, 14 Second year cadets and 37 First year cadets.
20 SD cadets attended the Combined Annual Training Camp at VHNSN College,
Virudhunagar from 21-06-08 to 30-06-08. The Company Commander Captain
B.Ravikumar along with 15 SW cadets and 25 SD cadets attended the Combined
Annual Training Camp at KVS Higher Secondary School, Virudhunagar from 24-09-08
to 03-10-08. Two cadets attended the Army Attachment Camp at Secundrabad from
20-08-08 to 03-09-08 and four cadets attended the same camp at Bangalore from
08-12-08 to 22-12-08. Second year cadet S.Senthilkumar attended National
Integration Camp at Chennai in the month of December 2008. Final year cadet
S.Muniyasamy attended the Trekking Camp at Dehradun from 01-09-08 to 17-09-08
and cadet P.Gopal of Third year also attended the Trekking camp at Utterkant
from 17-09-08 to 07-10-08.
Anti-Tobacco rally was conducted in Aruppukottai to create the
awareness among the People. Our Company cadets cleaned the CSI orphanage school
grounds. Our cadets participated in traffic control in Aruppukottai for one
week in the month of October 2008. During blood donation camp 20 cadets were
donated blood and our cadets are prepared to donate blood at the time of
operation in the Government Hospital as and when needed. Our cadets (P.Gopal, C.Muniyakrishnan, M.Thillaikumar,
P.Karuppasamy, B.Marees, S.Muniyasamy and C.Alagupandian) went to Madurai as volunteers in INS Paralympic Southern State Sports
Meet for Physically Challenged People on Jan 31st - 1st Feb 2009.
15 SW cadets and 19 SD cadets appeared for 'B' certificate
examination at VSVN Polytechnic, Virudhunagar on 28th February 2009 and 21 SD
cadets appeared for 'C' certificate examination at VHNSN College, Virudhunagar
on 15th March 2009.
54 cadets undergone training in long range firing at Krishnan
Kovil on 22-01-09. They have
fired by Light Machine Gun (LMG) and .22mm rifle.
